Caseboard (“we”, “the site”) is operated for community discussion of fictional detective cases and theories.
We collect: email (for login), username, display name, bio, detective character and color choices (no photos), cases you publish, comments, votes, and private board notes tied to your account.
Data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL and Storage), encrypted in transit and at rest by our host. We do not sell your personal data.
Public cases, comments, and public profile fields are visible to other users. Private cases and your detective board are visible only to you unless you choose to make a case public.
We do not allow user photo uploads. Case content is text-only; profiles use built-in characters and colors.
You may delete your account in Settings, which removes your profile and associated content subject to backup retention by our host.
When ads are enabled, third-party ad networks may set cookies per their policies. You can toggle ad preference in Settings when available.
For privacy requests, contact the site operator at the email you configure for caseboard.online.
